(1) Subject to this
Act, an arbitrator may make decisions the arbitrator thinks fit.
(2) An arbitrator may
confirm, amend or revoke any direction of a conciliator —
(a)
requiring the payment of compensation (an interim compensation direction under
section 320(1)); or
(b) that
income compensation payments are to be suspended or reduced (a direction under
section 323).
Note for this subsection:
Sections 321(2)
and 323(8) provide for the effect of the revocation by an arbitrator of
an interim compensation direction or a direction of a conciliator suspending
or reducing income compensation payments.
