(1) The CEO may
approve forms for use under this Act.
(2) For any document
or information that this Act requires to be in an approved form, the power of
the CEO to approve the form extends to —
(a) the
form in which the document or information must be created or recorded and
provided or exchanged (which may include an electronic, paper or other form or
use of an electronic database or document system); and
(b) the
manner in which it must be conveyed or transmitted to a recipient.
(3)
Subsection (2) does not limit the other matters that may be dealt with in
approving the form, such as layout, content and accompanying documents and
information.
(4) An approved form
may require a matter stated in the form to be verified by statutory
declaration.
(5) Regulations and
rules made for the purposes of section 497(3) apply to an approved form
unless the CEO specifies otherwise.
