(1) A worker’s
entitlement to income compensation for incapacity for work resulting from an
injury ceases when the total of all amounts of income compensation paid to the
worker for that incapacity reaches the income compensation general limit
amount.
Note for this subsection:
The income
compensation general limit amount is equal to the general maximum amount
provided for by section 538(1).
(2) Any additional
income compensation paid as ordered by an arbitrator under section 52(4)
must not be counted for the purposes of this section as income compensation
paid to the worker.
Note for this section:
Provisional payments
by the employer in respect of income compensation are taken into account for
the purposes of this section as income compensation paid by the
employer — see section 43.
