(1) A dispute
resolution authority has, in the performance of their functions of a dispute
resolution authority, the same protection and immunity as a judge of the
Supreme Court has in the performance of the functions of a judge.
(2) A person
representing a party in a proceeding before a dispute resolution authority has
the same protection and immunity as a legal practitioner has in representing a
party in proceedings in the Supreme Court.
(3) A party to a
proceeding before a dispute resolution authority has the same protection and
immunity as a party to proceedings in the Supreme Court.
(4) A person appearing
as a witness in a proceeding before a dispute resolution authority has the
same protection and immunity as a witness has in proceedings in the Supreme
Court.
(5) To the extent that
this section is inconsistent with anything expressly stated in another
provision of this Act, this section does not apply.
