section —
governing body means the governing body
established under section 95(1) of the former Act.
(2) The Board is a
continuation of the governing body.
(3) The person who
immediately before commencement day was the Chairman of the governing body
continues in office under and subject to this Act as the chairperson of the
Board and for that purpose is taken to have been appointed as chairperson of
the Board for a term of office that is the remainder of the term of office for
which the person was appointed as Chairman of the governing body.
(4) A person who
immediately before commencement day was a nominee member of the governing body
continues in office under and subject to this Act as an appointed member of
the Board and for that purpose is taken to have been appointed as a member of
the Board for a term of office that is the remainder of the term of office for
which the person was appointed as a nominee member of the governing body.
