(1) A person who
immediately before commencement day was a public service officer appointed
under the Public Sector Management Act 1994 Part 3 for the purposes
of section 295(2) of the former Act is taken to be a public service
officer appointed under the Public Sector Management Act 1994
Part 3 for the purposes of section 479(1) of this Act on the same
terms and conditions that applied to the person immediately before
commencement day.
(2) A person who
immediately before commencement day was engaged by the WorkCover Western
Australia Authority under the Public Sector Management Act 1994
section 100 is taken to have been engaged by WorkCover WA under that
section on the same terms and conditions that applied to the person
immediately before commencement day.
(3) Except as
otherwise agreed by a person referred to in this section, the operation of
this section does not —
(a)
affect the person’s remuneration; or
(b)
affect the person’s existing or accruing rights in respect of annual
leave, long service leave, personal leave or any other leave; or
(c)
affect any rights under a superannuation scheme; or
(d)
interrupt the continuity of the person’s service.
