This legislation has been repealed.
(1) A member of the
Authority may at any time resign from office by notice in writing delivered to
the Minister.
(2) The Minister may
remove a person who is a member of the Authority from office on the grounds of
—
(a) the
person ceasing to be a person who would be eligible to be appointed to the
office if it were to become vacant;
(b)
mental or physical incapacity to carry out the person’s duties in a
satisfactory manner;
(c) the
person being an insolvent under administration within the meaning of that term
in the Corporations Act 2001 of the Commonwealth;
(d)
neglect of duty; or
(e)
misconduct.
(3) If, before the
term of office for which a person was appointed as a member of the Authority
expires, the person dies, resigns, or is removed from office, the office
becomes vacant.
