Audience:
Objective: The huge variety of free-access digital resources that have become available in recent years now make them indispensable both to those who depend on free-access resources and those with access to commercial legal resources. This seminar will provide you with comprehensive legal research techniques predominately using AustLII, Australia's largest free-access provider of online Australasian legal materials. Presenter: Professor Graham Greenleaf, UNSW Faculty of Law, Co-Director AustLII. Programme:The course covers how to research a wide range of the most useful online legal sources in these four areas:
The course fee is $550 including GST (includes tuition, materials, lunch and refreshments). It has over 660 databases from all Australasian jurisdictions. AustLII was established by the Faculties of Law at UTS and UNSW in 1995. Since its establishment, AustLII has grown to be a reputable and credible source of legal information with extensive data source agreements in place with Australasian governments, courts, tribunals, educational institutions and businesses. |
